Most classes are drop-in and range from $10 - $17 depending on the instructor.  Mats are available at the studio for $1 rental per use.

Belly Dancing:  An ancient way to get in and stay in shape!  Join us for an hour long class to get your blood flowing, work on sculpting your body and stimulating your creativity.  You'll use many muscles that you never thought of, in ways you'd never imagined and enjoy a challenge while Accentuating your Feminity.  We have fun while learning a unique style of dance and gain appreciation for the Ancient Art of Belly Dancing!  We dance with bare feet with cool attire to MOVE IN!  For more info and to register contact: maliainhawaii@mac.com or (808) 234-1006.

Congo Core:  An African Dance Class with live drumming featuring styles from Congo, Guinea, and Senegal.  The Congo Core Pilates warm-up (bring yoga mat if you need) engages and tones the muscles that we will be using throughout the dance class which will focus on isolations, rhythm, coordination, and most of all FUN.  Expect a full body cardio workout but always to your own degree of comfort.  This class is open to all levels and ages and is guaranteed to rejuvenate the Body, Mind, and Spirit.

Hatha Raja Yoga.  It emphasizes holding the poses longer, challenging ones strength and balance, as well as focusing ones concentration, both in poses and during meditation.   All levels encouraged, advanced welcome.


Music-Chemistry: a weekly workshop designed to help young musicians meet, play, communicate, improvise & write music with other musicians. The program creates an interactive learning environment where students of various instrumentation and background use basic musical concepts to exchange ideas and create with each other. Vocals, Strings, Keys, Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion are all welcome! You must bring your own instrument and you must be able to play it at an intermediate level. Nia:  is a movement technique focused on meeting the wellness and fitness needs of the whole body. Nia takes the "work" out of workout while delivering cardiovascular fitness. Nia movements are structured and inspired by elements of marital arts, dance arts, and the healing arts. Nia students take class barefoot, moving to an eclectic mix of music. R&R Hatha Yoga: (R&R = Rest & Relaxation) A gentle flowing dynamic yoga class designed to prepare our whole body, mind and spirit for a restful night of sleep.  Join us after your long weekend to stretch and strengthen the body systems.  The use of the chair, blankets, blocks and straps will prepare our bodies into blissful relaxation.


 

Tribal Fusion Belly Dance:  This "Core Focus” class is a Beginner/intermediate level class for adults with Kalae Kaina, the Director of Shakti Dance Movement.   In this class we will focus on core strengthening, posture, and tribal aesthetics. 


Yoga:  All levels Hatha yoga class that focuses on physical alignment and encourages self exploration of the inner terrain of mind body and spirit.. with our conscious awareness we see our conditioned ways of being in our bodies and choose another way. Be prepared to smile, sweat and surrender to the moment.


YogaFitness: A smooth blended combination of poses, strengthening exercises and stretching intended to enhance the mind, body and spirit.  Focusing on using our breath to calm and center the mind while while working all of the muscles gives us a balanced, dynamic workout.  Each pose has been bio-mechanically redesigned to limit injuries along with clear and user friendly terminology making the class easy to follow.  Freedom to modify any pose is encouraged.  Yogafit is a great beginners class, yet offers challenge for all levels.


Yogilates: Yoga plus core... simply put, calming yoga postures sandwiched with energizing core supporting pilates mat exercises.  There are many modifications for these poses and beginners are welcome. 


Zumba: a latin-inspired, dance fitness, group exercise program that fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be FUN and EASY TO DO! The goal is simple: get people to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. By integrating Zumba into everyday life individuals may achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric burning, heart racing, muscle pumping, body energizing movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and International zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA.

Zumba Gold:  This course is designed for the active adult population or the true beginner participant.  Zumba Gold addresses the anatomical, physiological, and psychological needs specific to these participants.  It includes easy choreography with safe and slow progression to rhythyms like Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Belly Dance, Flamenco and others.
